A dip in the pool after a day at the beach

The refreshing pool of the Casale is perfectly integrated into the hillside landscape and is next to a Mediterranean botanical garden where you can relax in the cool shade of pine trees and cork oaks. The 14x7m pool is built in Tuscan terracotta tiles, designed with four graduated slopes and a flat section 1 metre deep for safe swimming. It is equipped with a springboard, one umbrella, two sun loungers and a small table per apartment, plus a sun terrace, outdoor shower, changing room and toilet. (Opening guaranteed from the end of May to mid-October, ask for confirmation before booking.)

The summer temperature is a little cooler than in seaside areas, a positive factor especially during the night.

Parking

The parking private for cars and motorbikes is covered and shaded and is located inside the Casale (max 50 metres from the apartment).

Playground

The completely fenced-in playground is the ideal place for children's entertainment in full safety. A ping-pong table is available. Baby-sitting on request.

Football Field/Tennis Court

The tennis court is located on one of the terraced areas of the hillside, free of charge for our guests, and can also be used as a football field.

Bikes, Mountain-bikes and Kayaks

'Bed & Bike'

The Casale offers free bicycles (no helmets) and kayaks (non-professional) to move around, go for a walk/paddle, and/or buy bread and croissants in the morning, subject to availability. Mountain bike rental is available in agreement with Rent/Bike, 600 metres from the Casale, to discover the most unspoilt areas of the island.

Washing machine, laundry and ironing room

(n.1 included) inclusive of washing powder. Additional request: 1 wash € 6 inclusive of washing powder.

Final cleaning

*Please note* (Final cleaning of the room/beds is included). Final cleaning is the responsibility of the guest: the kitchenette, refrigerator, barbecue, and bathroom must be left clean and free of any waste, deposited in the respective recycling bins on the property, including cleaning products. (Final cleaning may not be included.) Otherwise a supplement of € 20 each will be charged, up to a maximum of € 100.(nothing is due if you leave it clean)

Discounts Ferries

We guarantee our customers the best price on Moby and Toremar and you can take advantage of all Blunavy promos: a discount on the return ferry ticket, with exemption from booking fees (we will provide a code to enter on the ferry company's website upon booking confirmation). Ferry crossings from Monday to Thursday at significantly lower fares than at weekends. The earlier you book, the more you save.

The apartments and cottages

The Casale has 6 delightful apartments and cottages, each unique and all on the ground floor. They are comfortable and harmoniously integrated into the natural environment, offering Panoramic views and spacious outdoor spaces with green, flower-filled gardens with barbecues and independent entrance/exit gates, and furnished outdoor terraces with wooden verandas for outdoor dining and a solarium with sun loungers or deckchairs for exclusive use. All apartments have: - Equipped kitchen (cutlery, crockery and pots and pans) - Moka - Energy/Gas/Water - 270-litre refrigerator with freezer - TV/LCD - Private bathroom with shower - Hairdryer - Clothes airer - Mosquito nets - Carbon monoxide (Co) and Gas detector - Fire extinguisher. The family and the staff live in the Casale and manage the apartments directly; they are discreet and available 24/7 to offer advice and suggestions on places to visit on the island.

On demand: olive oil from a farm on the Island of Elba +€ 15. Sheets and towels are not included. Guests can rent them at the property (max 48 hours before check-in) for a supplement of € 14,50 per person (Courtesy service; you will find the beds made) for sheets and € 11,50 for towels; or bring their own. Kitchen linen is not provided. Extra cleaning mid-week € 30 per hour. Baby cot: customers can bring their own cot at no extra cost (max 1); otherwise € 5 per night. Shuttle service

On request: shuttle service to the beach for guests of the Casale. Available to the various beaches of Capoliveri, and also to reach Porto Azzurro, the Capoliveri Mines, the Airport, the Port, and other locations on request.

During the summer (mid-June to mid-September) the Marebus shuttle makes daily runs from early morning to late at night to and from the beaches and tourist centres of the municipality. The bus stop is 500 metres from the Casale, next to the supermarket with car and electric bicycle charging.

From Naregno beach to Porto Azzurro, a boat service is also available (on payment), providing a pleasant crossing under the stars.

Boat trips are organized to visit Elba.

Breakfast

There is nothing better than starting the day with a refreshing swim and continuing with breakfast at L'Orchidea Bar/Pastry Shop and Bakery,and/or Bar and smoke shop Il Cavatore historic centre, Within 600/700 metres from the Casale, and/or served in the pool garden and/or in the apartment garden. Italian breakfast: (Coffee or Cappuccino, Croissant) Cost € 8 per person (reservation required 24 hours before).

Pets Welcome

For short stays: € 10/day (€ 50/week).

Pets are welcome only under these conditions: they have always been welcome guests (max 1 per apartment). Please communicate the presence of your pet (even small breeds) at the time of booking. They must be quiet and well-behaved: to ensure maximum serenity for all guests, please make sure they do not disturb others, especially by barking. Please clean up after them. They are not admitted in the swimming pool, playground or communal areas. Several trails leading directly from the Casale to the sea also guarantee quiet walks.

We love to organize for our guests delightful evenings with a dip in the pool under the moonlight, in a pleasant and evocative atmosphere of conviviality. This is our passion for being together… between a glass of wine and the Mediterranean flavours of our land.

Casale Fonte di Rose is the perfect venue on the island for all kinds of events and personalized culinary experiences. Personal Chef 'Local Flavours' — close attention is given to the use of local and organic products. The Casale can also be entirely booked for exclusive use by groups, couples and families: sleeps 31 (16 couples and 15 people) - Bedrooms 6+1 - Bathrooms 6+2. During the summer, special evening events take place in the large outdoor area: exhibitions of local artists and craftsmen, painting and photography workshops, the four seasons festival, evenings under the stars with the astronomer… and many more!

Please remember to communicate your departure time from the Port of Piombino, so that we can deliver your apartment to the Casale as soon as possible.
